Operations Engineer Wind- Βelgium
Description
As an Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for the management, operation, and follow-up of a portfolio of renewable energy assets (EnR) in their operational phase. Working closely with a small, skilled team within the Asset Management department, you will play a key role in maximizing production while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and budgetary control.
Requirements
You hold a degree in Engineering (General, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental); an additional qualification in project management is a strong asset
You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy sector or IPP
You have a solid background in contract management and enjoy negotiating with various stakeholders
You are highly interested in both the technical and financial performance of projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are among your key strengths
Familiarity with maintenance operations in power infrastructure is a plus
You are fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken (mandatory for this role)
You are comfortable with IT tools and data applications, especially Excel, Power BI, and Power Platform
A valid driving license (Category B) is required
This role involves occasional field visits and travel
To be eligible for this role, you must currently reside in Belgium and hold a valid work permit
