In the innovative offshore wind energy sector, C-Power is seeking a versatile IT/OT Engineer to help manage, secure, and optimize both IT systems and operational technology. C-Power is the only Belgian offshore wind farm where the original turbine manufacturer is no longer active. C-Power is a pioneer in offshore wind energy in Belgium. From its Ostend location, they manage and maintain the first large wind farm in the North Sea, located on the Thornton Bank, 30 kilometers from the coast. With 54 wind turbines and a capacity of 325 MW, C-Power supplies approximately 300,000 households with green energy annually. The company combines advanced infrastructure with sustainability and innovation, making it a crucial player in the Belgian energy transition.
Requirements
Broad IT knowledge: Windows, MS Office, Teams, SharePoint Broad knowledge/interest in IT and OT applications: PCs, (virtual) servers, VMware, networks, firewalls, SCADA applications, management and monitoring systems (Offshare, Apipro, Qlik)
Knowledge of network architecture, systems and security, segmentation, routing. Can identify problems and support users with problems on switches, routers, firewalls, and access points.
Affinity with a production or industrial environment. Experience in this field is a plus but not required.
