IT/OT Engineer Belgium
Description
In the innovative and fast-evolving offshore wind energy sector, C-Power is looking for an IT/OT Engineer who will be responsible for the management, security, and optimization of both IT systems and operational technology.
C-Power operates the only Belgian offshore wind farm where the original turbine manufacturer is no longer active. As a result, responsibilities that would typically fall to the manufacturer are now handled internally. This includes major component replacements, engineering solutions for technical issues, and optimization of turbine maintenance. These responsibilities make C-Power’s position unique within the Belgian offshore wind sector and offer a continuous technical challenge.
Requirements
Generalist in both IT and OT:
Broad IT knowledge: Windows, MS Office, Teams, SharePoint
General knowledge of IT infrastructure and applications: PCs, (virtual) servers, VMware, networks, firewalls
Eagerness to learn more about OT systems: SCADA applications, management and monitoring systems (Offshare, ApiPro, Qlik), network architecture, systems and security, segmentation, routing
Affinity with a production or industrial environment is a plus but not a requirement.
