Operations Controller Ireland
Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring and address real-time faults to optimize energy production, ensure safe transfer of control under Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR), track adverse weather conditions and issue necessary alerts, generate detailed reports from complex data sets for internal and external stakeholders, act as the primary emergency contact, coordinating appropriate responses, update third-party energy trading systems in real-time, support health, safety, IT, and operational tasks as required, ensure smooth shift handovers and maintain detailed records of ongoing issues and comply with ISO 9001, 14001, and 50001 standards.
Requirements
Excellent organizational skills
Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule (24/7 shift schedule)
A keen interest in renewable energy or a related field
Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal)
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Capability to stay focused for extended periods and perform under pressure
Electrical or Mechanical background, with a UK Level 3 or Irish Level 5 college qualification
Experience with SCADA systems, data analysis tools, or energy management platforms
Experience with Office 365 is a plus
